The experts held their first meeting on 28th January, 2007 and ever since, have been meeting at least once in every month.

Meanwhile, pursuant to the application filed on 10th August 2006, on 20th February, 2007 , Kogi State Government granted CCN a statutory right of occupancy on a 4 hectare flatland located on Mount Patti , Lokoja, where the broadcast centre was commissioned.

Recruitment advertisements were placed in local and national newspapers between April and May, 2007 and the 1246 applications received for various positions were reviewed and a shortlist of 124 applicants were interviewed at Lokoja on 12 and 13 July, 2007. The first batch of employees began their training and orientation on 1st August, 2007.

Grace FM 95.5, Lokoja is the first of the two-port electronic broadcast business with which CCN would be initially engaged. The TV station, Confluence Television (CTV), is expected to come on a stream in the first quarter of 2008.
